NAME: Cheyla Ruth Pettett, age 29, an Omaha, NE,  formally a longtime Atoka resident.

BORN: She was born on Saturday, March 28, 1987, to Paul and Stephanie Irene (Rushing) Pettett, at Plano, TX.

PASSED AWAY: Cheyla passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Omaha, NE.

AGE:  29 years, 4 months and 12 days.

EDUCATION: She graduated from Atoka High School, attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University and graduated from University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors of Science Degree. She just recently got engaged to the loved of her life and just moved to Omaha to attend Nebraska Methodist College for her Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.

OCCUPATION: Cheyla was a graduate student.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Cheyla attended 1st Baptist Church in Atoka. She enjoyed learning, crafting, board games, and  audio books.
