Obituary Christopher "Chris" Eugene Manion, age 45, a longtime Stringtown area resident, was born on February 20, 1966, to Jackie and Mona Christine (Thompson) Manion, at Bakersfield, Ca. Chris passed away on Sunday, October 09, 2011 at Atoka, Ok. He graduated from Kiowa High School in 1984. Chris was a Mechanic. He married Katherine (Shelton) on June 26, 2004 at Olney, Ok. Chris attended the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Coalgate. He enjoyed hunting, listening to music, and tinkering with cars. Chris is survived by his wife, Katherine Manion of the home in Stringtown, Ok.; mother, Mona Christine (Thompson) of Stringtown, Ok.; sons, Scotty Ray Manion and wife Shayla of Stringtown, Ok., Nathaniel Heathcock of Coalgate, Ok., Matthew Manion of Stringtown, Ok.; siblings, Leroy Manion of Dallas-Fort Worth, Tx., Rita Roberts and husband Barry of Stringtown, Ok., Justina Releford and husband Ron of Stringtown, Ok.; grandchildren, Unique Hill, Zachary Hill, and Kara Beth Manion of Stringtown, Ok.; biological father, Floyd Gayler of Coalgate, Ok.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
