NAME: Clara Regina (Kappel) Parker, age 95, a Lula, resident.
BORN: Clara was #8 of 12 siblings. She was born on December 31, 1920, to John and Theresa (Gaschler) Kappel, in Ellis, KS.
PASSED AWAY: Clara passed away on March 31, 2016 at Coalgate, OK.
AGE: 95 years and 3 months.
EDUCATION: Clara attended Ellis County Schools & High School at Girls Catholic School of Hayes, KS. Later attending college in Hayes, KS., until the war broke out and she went to work in the factory.
OCCUPATION: Clara was a homemaker. She made belts, hoses and tires for Gates Rubber Company during WWII.
MARRIED: Charles J. Parker on July 3, 1943 in San Antonio, TX, he preceded her in death Nov. 4, 1967.
CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Clara was a member of Saint Louis Parish of Englewood, CO for 49 years. She enjoyed gardening, bingo and couponing. She was a sports fanatic, her favorite sports teams was the Colorado Rockies baseball & Denver Broncos football.
