NAME: Cleatus "Topsy"  Leota (Brown) Guinn, age 79, a longtime Coalgate resident.

BORN: She was born on March 13, 1937, to Jessie and Eva Anne (Steelman) Brown, at Coalgate, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Leota passed away on October 18, 2016 at OKC, OK.

AGE:  79 years, 7 months and 5 days.

EDUCATION: Leota attended and graduated from Coalgate High School and later attended and graduated from Rose State College.

OCCUPATION:  Leota worked for the Coal County Election Board for more than 22 years. She began working in the Election office in 1977, and retired for the first time in 1999. Leota was appointed back in office in 2001 and later retired for good. She loved her job and her friends at the courthouse.

MARRIED: Vester L. Guinn on April 16, 1978 in Oilton, OK

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS:  She was a member of the Coalgate Church of Nazarene. Leota enjoyed reading and her book clubs. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
