Clifford Doyle Johnson, age 88, a lifelong Caney, OK resident, was born on Monday, March 30, 1931, to Charles Lester and Eva Agnes (Cantrell) Johnson, at Caney, OK.
Clifford passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Durant, OK. He graduated from Caney High School in 1950 and then received an Associate's Degree from Murray State College in 1952. Clifford worked at Lockheed Aircraft and retired from Mack Alford Correctional Center as maintenance and tool and dye maker. Clifford proudly served his country in The Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Denvel Dean (Rhodes) on Saturday, March 28th, 1959 at Atoka, OK. They enjoyed 60 years of marriage.
Clifford enjoyed fishing, hunting and being with the grandchildren.
Clifford is survived by his wife, Denvel (Rhodes) Johnson of the home in Caney, OK ; sons, Jerry Johnson and wife Tresa of Caney, OK, Stephen Johnson of Caney, OK, Anthony Johnson and Kim Riley of Caney, OK; grandchildren, Erika, Rebecca, Natalie, Garrett, Jordan, Dalton; great grandchildren, Shooter, Brooklyn, Denver, Addison; brothers, Charles Johnson and wife Annie Jo of Stringtown, OK, Dale Johnson and wife Jeanne of Stringtown, OK, Joe Johnson and wife Ann of Everett, WA; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Clifford is preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Eva Johnson; sisters, Naomi (Johnson) Watson, Geneva (Johnson) Golden; grandson, Danial Johnson.
