Obituary Clinton Leroy Boone, age 85, an Atoka resident, was born on August 7, 1926, to Hugh and Ollie (Carrigan) Boone, at Elkins, Ar. Clinton passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Talihina, Ok. He attended school in Elkins, Ar. Clinton was a Manufacturing Manager for Industry Hughes Aircraft. Clinton proudly served his country in The Navy during WWII. He married Lillie A. (Prater) on July 9, 2001 at Eureka Springs, Ar. Clinton attended the Gospel Lighthouse P.C. of God in Coalgate. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. Most of all he loved God. Clinton is survived by his wife, Lillie A. Boone of the home in Atoka, Ok.; children, Reta Hadley and husband Terry of Denison, Tx., Clifford Boone and wife Pam of Aubrey, Tx.,James Boone and wife Ruby Ann of Newman, Ga.; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; sister, Ruby Jean Trent of Anderson, Mo.; stepson, Rick Moore and wife Sherry of Atoka, Ok.; stepdaughter, Rebecca Hood and husband Robin of Stratford, Ok.; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Silvers and husband Dale of Crystal, Ok., Mary Prater of Crystal, Ok.; brother-in-law, Owen Prater and wife Shirley of Pickett, Ok.; mother-in-law, Ruby Alene Prater of Crystal, Ok.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
