Clyde Leroy Weeden, a Wardville resident, was born on July 16, 1953, to Lee Roy and Faye Evelyn (Cornell) Weeden, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He passed away on April 10, 2026, at his home in Wardville, Oklahoma, surrounded by loved ones. Clyde was 72 years, 8 months and 25 days old. He attended Choctaw and Coalgate Schools, graduating from Coalgate High School with the Class of 1963. Clyde obtained his HVAC certification and attending numerous horse training schools where his love for horses grew. He was a rancher and was happiest when training horses. Clyde was good at horse training and was often called “The Horse Whisperer”. He married Carlin Gwin Batts on November 7, 1993, at the Cottonwood Baptist Church where they were members. Clyde and Carlin were blessed with 32 years together.

Georgia Franks and husband Raymond of Choctaw, OK
Darryll Weeden and wife Sue of Fort Worth, TX
Clayton Weeden of McAlester, OK
Ronnie Weeden of Sparks, OK
Gary Weeden and wife Cheryl of Coalgate, OK
Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dearly loved friends
