OBITUARY

Cody Gene Evans, age 41, a Gore, OK resident was born on Monday, October 1, 1984, to Walter and Angelia (Mead) Evans, at McAlester, OK. He passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026 at Gore, OK.

Cody graduated from Gore High School and went on to become a Journeyman out of Tulsa with 1002. He was a Baptist, respectful and known to be kind to a fault. Cody loved being a lineworker and working around his home with his dog Andie by his side.

Cody is survived by his parents Walter and Angelia (Mead) Evans of Gore, OK; brother Travis Evans of Atoka, OK; grandmother Mary Mead of Gore, OK; aunts and uncles Christy Mead of Gore, OK, Phylis and Vern Bates of Atoka, OK, Carolyn Riley of Shady Point, OK, and Barbara Lowis of Claremore, OK; and a host of other relatives and loved ones.
