OBITUARY Conova "Sue" Burleson, age 69, a Purcell, OK resident, was born on Thursday, April 15, 1943, to James and Bessie Amanda (Pack) Duncan, at Haskell, TX. Sue passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Purcell, OK. She attended school in O'Brien, TX. Sue was a homemaker and a cashier at Noel's in Stringtown for over 20 years. She married Harvey Dale Burleson on December 5, 1959 in Texas. Sue attended Stringtown Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends. Sue is survived by her children, Debra Lindsey and husband Dennis of Purcell, OK., Jimmy Burleson and wife Angie of Bentley, OK.; brothers, James Duncan and wife Shari of Grapevine, TX., Bill Duncan and wife Nancy of Knox City, TX., Lynn Duncan and wife Billye of Wichita Falls, TX.; grandchildren, Harvey Featherston and wife Kristen of Purcell, OK., Jeffrey McClain of Purcell, OK., Chad Lindsey and wife Cami of Purcell, OK., Shannon Taylor and husband Jon of Purcell, OK., Shayla Burleson of Stringtown, OK., Mikel Sparks and wife Skyla of McAlester, OK., Bridgett Sparks of Okmulgee, OK., Brandon Gerard of Atoka, OK., Mindy Gerard of Atoka, OK., Mandy Gerard of Ft. Smith, AR., 17 great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
