OBITUARY

Curtis H. Harjo, age 88, a Ringold, OK resident, formerly of Atoka and Oklahoma City, was born on Wednesday, September 30, 1931, to Buz Jackson and Mamie (Reeder) Harjo, at Ringer, OK. Curtis passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020 at Broken Bow, OK. He attended High School. Curtis was an Outreach Coordinator for Oklahoma City Rehab Center. Curtis proudly served his country in The Army. He married Anna (Smith) Harjo on Saturday, February 18th, 1989 at First Central Nazarene Church in Oklahoma City, OK. They were happily married for 19 wonderful years before her passing on December 2, 2008. Curtis loved his Lord. He was wonderful and very supportive family man. Curtis enjoyed spending time with his great grandson.

Curtis is survived by his children, Kathleen Harjo Turner of Moore, OK, Virginia York of Atoka, OK, Cheryl Nelson of Oklahoma City, OK, Cynthia Stewart of Oklahoma City, OK, Tim Nelson; granddaughter, Nicole; great grandson, Jordan Ferrell of Oklahoma City, OK; along with other relatives and dear friends.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Buz Jackson and Mamie Harjo; wife, Anna Mae Harjo.
