Dana Jaree Harvey, age 57, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident, was born on Sunday, September 24, 1961, to "Bud" and Kaye (Hubbard) Harvey, at Ardmore, OK. Dana passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Denison, TX. She graduated from Atoka High School in 1979, SOSU with a Bachelor's in Chemistry in 1983 and graduated in 1991 from OSU with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dana was a veterinarian since 1991 and loved all her patients. She was a longtime member of Harmony Baptist Church. Dana enjoyed flowers, gardening, broadway shows, traveling, OSU football, loved her pets and most of all loved her niece and nephew.
Dana is survived by her father, Bud Harvey and wife Gayle of Atoka, OK; brother, Jay Harvey and wife Misty of Atoka, OK; niece, Spencer Harvey of Norman, OK; nephew, Jared Harvey of Atoka, OK; along with cousins, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Dana is preceded in death by her mother, Kaye (Hubbard) Harvey; grandparents, J.M. and Lois Harvey, Bill and Mohee Hubbard; aunt, Ramona Harvey Gahagan.
