Daniel "Danny" Charles Kiser I, age 77, a longtime Atoka, OK resident. He was born on Wednesday, October 6, 1948, to George Jacob and Mary Elizabeth (Purcell) Kiser, in Sedgwick County, KS. Danny passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Plano, TX. He graduated from Atoka High School with the class of 1967. He then went on to attend SOSU where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Education. Danny was a school teacher at Lane in his early years, bookkeeper for various places, truck driver, car hauler for Stuteville and was a Funeral Assistant for Brown's Funeral Service. He married Patricia Ann Bunn who preceded him in death on June 19, 2009. Danny attended First Baptist Church of Atoka. He enjoyed driving, working, reading, enjoyed nature and animals. Danny loved spending time with his grandchildren, shopping with them, watching them play sports and school functions.
Danny is survived by his daughter, Candace Kiser of Atoka, OK; granddaughters, Sarah Turner of Atoka, OK, Madeline Kiser of Atoka, OK; great grandchildren, Adelaide Smith, Jaxton Garside, Mason Nelson; sister, Sonia Kiser North of Abingdon, VA; sister in law, Pat Kiser of Yukon, OK
along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, George Jacob Kiser and wife Nobie, Mary Elizabeth Kiser; wife, Patty Kiser; son, Daniel Kiser II; brother, George Kiser.
