Daniel Terry Sexton, age 73, lived in Oklahoma City several years was a Hendrix, OK resident for the past 15 years, was born on Sunday, October 27, 1946, to Daniel and Catherine (Taylor) Sexton, at Talihina, OK. Daniel passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Colbert, OK. He attended high school in Oklahoma City where he played football, and later attended Okmulgee Technical School. Daniel was an apartment maintenance man. He married JoAnn Roberts in Oklahoma City. She preceded him in death. He later married Lisa Dawn Sexton on Saturday, June 26th, 2004 at Denison, TX. They celebrated 15 years of marriage.
Daniel was of the Methodis faith. He was a member of Sulphur Springs Methodist Church in Bennington, member of Choctaw Nation, active with the District 9 Seniors program.  Daniel enjoyed fishing, bowling, sewing and fixing things, and spending time with his family.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Lisa Dawn Sexton of the home in Hendrix, OK; children, Angela Sexton of Dallas, TX, Deborah Perez and husband Efren of Dallas, TX, Makayla Danielle Sexton of the home in Hendrix, OK; 8 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; brother, Michael Lee Sexton and wife Barbara of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters, Cleta Mae Mata of Caney, OK, Lena Karen Maturino of Durant, OK; uncles, Isaac Sexton and wife Judy of Tushka, OK, Tim Sexton and wife Shirley of Durant, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Catherine (Taylor) Sexton; first wife, JoAnn Roberts; daughter, Terri Lynn Rede; grandchildren, James Curtis Maturino, Andrew Dawayne Sexton.
