OBITUARY NAME: Danny Earl Cooper, age 65, was a lifelong Tushka area resident. BORN: He was born on November 14, 1944 to Luther Cooper and Dortha Faye (Smith) Cooper at McAlester, Ok. PASSED AWAY: Danny passed away on March 13, 2010 at his residence west of Tushka, Ok. AGE 65 YEARS 3 MONTHS AND 29 DAYS EDUCATION: He attended Bentley school and attended and graduated from Tushka High School and received his Master's degree in Education at S.O.S.U. OCCUPATION: He was Superintendent of Tushka Schools at Tushka, Ok. Danny was also a veteran and was in The National Guard.AST MARRIED: Danny married Judy Thomas on July 7, 1977 at Atoka, Ok. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES, AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Danny was a member of the Tushka Baptist Church for many years. He enjoyed his family, his church family, his friends and all of his present and past students and teachers from the Tushka School District and all those he was associated with. Danny especially like to go hunting and fishing with friends. SURVIVED BY WIFE: Judy Cooper of the home west of Tushka FATHER: Luther Cooper and wife Billie of Tushka CHILDREN: Rickey Bowen and wife Tina of Tushka Steve Cooper of Atoka Alice Bowen of Oklahoma City, Ok. Sherri McCoy of Atoka Pam Taylor and husband Neil of Yukon, Ok. Danna Zumbro of Ada, Ok. GRANDCHILDREN: Danny had 9 grandchildren BROTHER: Gary Cooper and wife Donna of Tushka, Ok. Danny is also survived by "His Hunting and Fishing Buddies" Along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
