DANNY ROSS WHITE OBITUARY

Danny Ross White, age 66, a longtime Atoka, OK resident. He was born on Wednesday, August 12, 1959, to Tommy Elvis and Lou Ella (Atteberry) White, at Antlers, OK. Danny passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at his home. He attended Atoka Public Schools and then later attended Coleman High School. Danny was a truck driver for himself since 17 years old and several other companies, worked at the Sale Barn and was a Jack of all Trades. He married Shirley (Welch) White on July 6, 2004 in Sherman, Texas.

Danny enjoyed fishing, camping, playing with his grandbabies which were his pride and joy, loved to dance. He wouldn't turn down a chance to dance to country music, he was smooth on his feet. Danny also enjoyed watching football and truck driving.

Danny is survied by his wife, Shirley White of the home, daughter, Tomina Casey and finance Brian Daniel of Abilene, TX, son, Nathan White of Midwest City, OK, daughter, Misty Hunter and husband Yancey of Midwest City, OK, grandchildren, Tanner and fiance Paisley Ronchetti of Lenanon, MO, Jayde, Erica, Abby, two great grandchildren, Paris, and Payton, brother, Chester White and wife Barbara of Beggs, OK, sister, Mary Rogers of Olney, TX, Joy Harris of Ravia, OK, Goldie Powell of Bethany, OK, Karen Parker and husband Curtis of Ravia, OK, Marline White-House of St. Augustine, FL, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Elvis and Lou Ella (Atteberry) White, brothers, J.W. White, Norman Lee White, Bobby Poindexter, Buddy Poindexter, sisters, Betty Jean White-Williamson, Norma Jane White, grandson, Matthew.

Honorary pallbearers, Tanner Casey, Nathan White, Yancey Hunter, Donny Welch, Brian Daniel, and Nephews.
