Darrell Wayne Sides of Atoka, OK passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the age of 56. He was born on September 2, 1961 in Oklahoma City, OK to Larry Gene Baucom and Mary Edith Prater.

He graduated from Atoka High School and furthered his education at Murray State College and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Darrell received a Bachelor's Degree in Education and worked as a teacher most of his life. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing his guitars.

Survivors include his sons, Brenton Sides and wife Stevie of Tulsa, OK and Stefan Sides of Tulsa, OK; mother, Mary Prater of Atoka, OK; father, Larry Baucom and wife Donna of Henrietta, OK; his granny, Alene Prater of Crystal, OK; brothers, Gary Hurd, Jon Baucom, and Frank Baucom; sisters, Lana Justus and Tana Baucom along with many extended family members and dear friends.

A celebration of Darrell's life will be held 10:00AM Monday, July 2, 2018 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel in Atoka with Pastor Larry Luman officiating.

Cremation services are under Brown's Funeral Service.
