David LaRoyce Daniel, 84, was born October 31, 1940, in Coleman to Delmer David "Pete" and Vella Estelle (Tipton) Daniel. He passed from this life into eternal life on Friday, March 21, 2025, at his home in Coleman.
Services will be held at Coleman Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, with burial to follow in Coleman Cemetery. Officiating services will be Bro. Richard Dickerson, assisted by Bro. Dustin Owen. A family visitation will be held at Coleman Baptist Church on Monday, March 24, 2025 from 6PM-8PM.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Phil Daniel and wife Karen, in-laws O.B. and Maggie Estep, brother-in-law Jim Estep and wife Ginnie, brother-in-law Keith Estep, sister-in-law Sue Dean and husband Horace, and sister-in-law LaRue Willingham.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Trudy, and children Brent and Joani Hartin and Rusty and Stephanie Daniel, all of Coleman. He is also survived by grandchildren Jake Hartin and Greg and Kathy Jo Ferguson of Coleman, Clay and Ali Hartin of Yukon, and Ty and Jessica Bates of Pottsboro, Texas, and great-grandchildren Daniel, Eli, and Maggie Jo Ferguson of Coleman.
Also surviving are brother W.C. Daniel and wife Ruth, sister Annette Stanley and husband David, sister-in-law Marilyn Goodwin, and sister-in-law Kathy Estep, all of Coleman; sister-in-law Diane Estep of Fort Worth, Texas; and brother-in-law John Estep and wife Becky of Wapanucka.
He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews, along with dear friends Billy and Diane Nelson and Frank and Neeta Whittington.
