Dean Francis Lackie

Dean Francis Lackie, an Atoka, OK resident, formerly of Michigan, was born on Saturday, November 2, 1968, to Merlin Allen and Vickie Sue (Collins) Lackie, at Grant, MI. Dean passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at his home in Atoka, OK at the age of 57 years, 10 months and 28 days. He went on to complete his GED and continued to get his CDL. Dean was an owner operator. He enjoyed drinking coffee in the morning while watching horses, playing phone games and having a good conversation. He loved working with his hands, especially enjoying woodworking, and greatly enjoyed his career in truck driving

Dean is survived by his parents, Merlin Allen and Vickie Sue (Collins) Lackie; siblings, Darrin Lackie, Derek Lackie, Kandy Reusser-Fracassi, Michael (Tony) Lackie, Mark Lackie; children, Arianna Johnson & son in law Ryan Johnson, Morgan Nicholson & son in law Noah Nicholson; grandchildren, Olivia & Eric Johnson. Expecting Ilia Nicholson; Along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Myrtle Lackie, Elmer Lackie; maternal grandparents, Helen and Ervin Collins.
