Delores Sue (Wooten) Fulton, age 75, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Tuesday, June 6, 1944, to Charles Gregory and Mildred Agnes (Rhodes) Wooten, at Caddo, OK. Delores passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at her home in Atoka, OK. She attended school at Maytubby, Hopewell and Caney. Delores worked in the horse trailer business for many years. Later she owned and operated the Old Sumter House Restaurant in Cement, OK. Upon her retirement she moved to Daisy, OK. She married Walter Fulton on Sunday, August 31st, 1975 at Anadarko, OK. He preceded her in death in 2015. They got to celebrate 40 wonderful years together. She loved going to auctions and working in her garden. She found great pleasure spending time with her family and friends, the last part of her life she lived in Atoka, OK.
Delores is survived by her daughters, Emma Wooten of Atoka, Oklahoma, Connie Shirley and husband Kevin of Atoka, Oklahoma; sons, Rick Williamson of Cement, Oklahoma, Terry Williamson and wife LaVonda of Ada, Oklahoma, Delbert Williamson of Atoka, Oklahoma; stepdaughters, Trula Justus and husband David of Rushsprings, Oklahoma, Diane Green and husband John of Ravia, Oklahoma, Tracy Fulton of Ravia, Oklahoma; sisters, Brenda Cook and husband Vic of Coleman, Oklahoma, Christine Handcock of Lone Grove, Oklahoma; brothers, Wayne Wooton and wife Etta of Coleman, Oklahoma, Billy Hicks and wife Anita of Pryor, Oklahoma; 23 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Delores was preceded in death by her father, Charles Grerory Wooten; mother, Mildred Agnes Wooten-Hicks; husband, Walter Fulton; brother, Gregory Wooten; sister, Lucille Whitmire; grandughter, Lacy Shadle.
