Obituary Dennis Carl Baskin, age 63, a longtime Atoka resident. was born on March 12, 1948, to Richard and Mary Lou (Trim) Baskin, at LaMesa, Tx. Dennis passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Oklahoma City, Ok. He attended College. Dennis was a Truck Driver. He married Gail (Batholomew) on September 20, 1991 at Atoka. Dennis attended the Atoka Assembly of God. Dennis is survived by his children, Dana John Oakes of Yelm, Wa., David Joseph Oakes Brunswick, Ga., DeAnn Jean Mays of Bentley, Ok.; grandchildren, Smokey Raye and Shampayne Nycole Mays, Dana Kay Oakes and Daniel John Oakes of Billings, Mt., David Joseph Jr. and Gabriel Oakes of Brunswick, Ga., Tiger, Jaguar, and Sicily Oakes of Michigan; brothers, Don Ed Baskin of Rising Star, Tx., Bill Baskin and wife Linda of Springdale, Ar., Randy Baskin of Evansville, Ok.; best friends, Vicki and Don Hutchison of Norman, Ok.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
