Dillard "Wayne" Phillips, age 64, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident. He was born on Tuesday, December 22, 1959, to Vernon Weldon and Mary Jaunell (Dillard) Phillips, at McKinney, TX. Wayne passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Plano, TX. He attended Tushka Public School. Wayne worked as a labor hand in construction. He was of the Baptist faith, loved being outdoors, fishing and camping.
Wayne is survived by his sister, Donna Phillips of Tushka, OK; nieces and nephews, Traci Allen of Lane, OK, Jeffery Phillips of Atoka, OK, Tanner Allen of Loveland, CO, AJ Burkett of Durant, OK, Elvis Lee Burkett of Durant, OK; along with great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Weldon Phillips and Mary Jaunell (Dillard) Williams; sisters, Denise Allen, Debbie Hohn; niece, Megan Springer.
