Obituary

Dollie Christine Spillman was born in Atoka, OK on December 29, 1931, the daughter of Floyd F. Mobbs and Minnie (Green) Mobbs. She attended school at Bentley, OK and Atoka High. Upon graduation she and best friends, Helen Leuty & and; Nina Griffith, moved to Houston, TX to work as Telephone operators. She always sent money home to help her family. Later the friends moved back to Atoka and she was transferred to Lawton with the telephone company. There she met a special telephone man who became her husband, Amos C. Spillman. They were married on September 13, 1952. They were transferred to Oklahoma City with the telephone company in 1954, where she was a stay at home Mom to Michael Spillman and Angela (Spillman) Wilson. She worked other small jobs such as at a Cleaner's, Insurance Agency and Oklahoma City Public Schools, until Amos's retirement and they bought a small farm and moved back to Atoka for the next 30 years. She then worked at the Broom Closet and Clyde Sheffield's mini Storage for 11 years. After the death of Amos she moved to Moore, OK to be close to her kids until her death.
Dollie was a member of the Tushka Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, fishing and skiing with the family, was an excellent seamstress/crafter and cook. Dollie loved going dancing with Amos and seeing all their friends, enjoyed her class reunion, being in the parade, the Bentley reunion and all the family reunions. She enjoyed visiting with everyone, the good food and playing dominoes even winning some trophies!

Proceeding her in death is her husband Amos C. Spillman, parents Floyd Mobbs and Minnie (Green) Mobbs, Bonnie Mobbs (Stepmother); Paternal Grandparents: Fred Mobbs & Emma (Palquitz) Mobbs; Maternal Grandparents Roy Green & Maude (Clements) Green; 3 sisters, infant Shirley M. Mobbs, Sandra J. (Mobbs) Davis, Ivey P (Tomlinson) Jackson; Brothers, Oscar F. Mobbs, Terry F. Mobbs, Ernest Tomlinson, Raymond and wife Bonnie Tomlinson, Jesse Tomlinson, and Bill Tomlinson. Father in law Earnest Spillman and Mother in law Lillian (Smith) Spillman Harrison. One Granddaughter Amanda J. Spillman. Son-in-Law Alvin D. Wilson. Sisters-in-law – Dorother Hafner, Dorlene Cook and Donna Brengle. Brothers in law, Merle Hafner, Paul Cook and Kenneth Brengle. Plus numerous other Aunts and Uncles that she had a great affection for.


Survivors: Children; son Michael C. Spillman and daughter Angela G. (Spillman) Wilson. Grand children and Great Grand Children; Melissa D. (May) Breding, husband Ryan and daughter Abigail; Sara N. (May) Hale, husband Brent and children Jerrod and wife Katherine, Mason, Teegan and Brayden; Joel M. Spillman, daughter Sophie and son Levi, Katie E. Spillman, sons Jackson and Joey T.,Jr. Brothers; Harvey D. Tomlinson, wife Ellen, and Larry D. Mobbs wife Paula; Sister; Linda K. (Mobbs) Silvers. Plus all the many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews, Cousins she loved.
