Don Thomas Lewis, age 77, a long time Coalgate resident. He was born on November 7, 1941, to Denver Lewis and Nettie Mae (Latham) Washburn, at Wardville, OK. Don passed away on July 16, 2019 at OKC, OK. He attended school at Limestone Gap through the 8 th grade and then attended & graduated from Coalgate High School in 1959. Don was a well known smiling face at Sonny's Grocery Store since 1956, he claimed to be semi retired but still worked at the grocery store 3 days a week.The other days of the week he was a full time farmer taking care of his hay & cattle. Don married Donna Kay Holland on July 10, 1962 at Coalgate, she preceded him in death on January 7, 2010. Don enjoyed farming, gardening, and his family.
