Donald Wayne Lynn Sr., age 61, an Atoka, OK resident. He was born on Sunday, July 15, 1962, to George Wayne and Rosie Etta (Hall) Lynn, at Trinidad, TX. Donald passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024 at his home in Atoka, OK. He attended Trinidad Elementary and Trinidad Highs School. He then transferred and graduated from Fayette-Ware High School in Somerville, TN. Donald was a painter in home construction. Donald proudly served his country in The United States Army. Donald attended Southside Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, fishing, and shooting guns. He loved spending time with his kids and family.
Donald is survived by his daughters, Rose Lynn of Canton, TX, Abigail Sherfield of Atoka, OK; son, Donald Wayne Lynn Jr. of Cookeville, TN; sister, Dolley Vinson and husband Michael of Atoka, OK; brothers, Daniel Anthony and wife Dena of Atoka, OK, Claude Anthony of Coalgate, OK; nephews and nieces, Victoria Anthony, Christopher Anthony, Brandon Anthony, Miracle Vinson, Edward Vinson, Mary Vinson; great nephews and nieces,     Lizzy Pernod, Jason Hencroth, Jaidon Vinson, Jessalynn Vinson, Jacob Vinson, Grayson Anthony.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, George Wayne Lynn; step-father, Franklin Anthony; mother, Rosie Stines and husband Willie; infant baby sister.
