Donese Ann (Pearce) Stanton, age 57, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Friday, October 12, 1962, to Donald Ray and Patricia Ann (Lackey) Pearce, at Libety, MO. Donese passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at her home in Atoka, OK. She graduated from Liberty High School in Liberty, Missouri. Donese was a CNA for Home Health and a nail tech. She married Carl Stanton  in Liberty, MO, he preceded her in death. Robert Brawdy has been her companion for the last eight years. She was of the Baptist faith, she attended Caney Baptist Church. She was an artist, loved to color, garden, her flowers, and most of all loved her nieces and nephews.
Donese is survived by her husband, Robert Brawdy of the home in Atoka, OK; sisters, Clarice Jarvis and friend JR Gabriel of Caney, OK, Melissa Herrera of Caney, OK; nieces/nephews, Richie Jarvis and wife Alecia of Durant, OK, Brandon Jarvis and companion Lauren Page of Caney, OK, Courtney Jarvis and Justin DaVault of Atoka, OK, Selena Looper and husband Aaron of Atoka, OK, Miranda Herrera and husband Brian of Atoka, OK, Autumn Herrera and husband Shakodah of Atoka, OK; greay nieces/nephews, Teagon, Jace, Kenzlie, Skylar, Charleigh, Mavrick, Abriella, Brystle, Channing, Writlee, David, Braxton, Emma, Lillie, Cheveyo; along with aunts, uncles, other relatives, and many dear friends.
Donese is preceded in death by her parents, Donald "Red" and Patricia Ann (Lackey) Pearce; husband Carl Stanton; brother, Randy Pearce; brother in law, David Herrera; cousin, Indira Doherty.
