Donna Joy (McCoy) McLachlan, age 80, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Tuesday, April 13, 1943, to George and Violet Everal (Clanton) McCoy, at Oklahoma City, OK. Donna passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Plano, TX. She graduated from Oklahoma City High School. Before retiring Donna was a teacher of electronics assembly and worked in that field most of her life. She married Dale McLachlan at Oklahoma City, OK. Donna attended the Pentecostal Holiness of Caney. She enjoyed any and all crafts, gardening, raising bunnies and chickens, but most of all being with family and Atlas, her baby Toy Chihuahua.
She is survived by her children, David Gibbs of Coalgate, OK, Katherine McCoy and husband John of Atoka, OK, Ron McLachlan of Atoka, OK, Debra McLachlan of Walden, CO, Tim McLachlan and wife Kristie of Kingston, OK; sister, Vinita Sawyer of California; along with grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dearly loved friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, George and Violet Everal (Clanton) McCoy; husband, Wilbur Dale McLachlan; siblings, Gary Don McCoy, George Leon McCoy
