Donna Marcelle Medlin-Fonville, age 54, a Stringtown, OK resident for the past 10 years formerly a longtime resident of Denison, TX, was born on Wednesday, June 5, 1968, to Melvin Joe Medlin and Sharon Leilani Sutton, at Sherman TX. Donna passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at her home in Stringtown, OK. She graduated from Denison High School and then went on to attend Grayson Community College. Donna was a certified tax preparer and worked for H & R Block in Durant, worked at Wal Mart for the past 15 years in different capacities and most recently was a pharmacy tech. She married Kevin Fonville on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015 at Atoka, OK. Donna was a christian and loved the Lord. She was very maternal and was everybody's mamma and was called "Mama Donna" except for her grandchildren and then she was Nonna, enjoyed reading, watching movies, cooking and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her husband, Kevin Fonville of the home in Stringtown, OK; children, Jackie Hightower and fiancé Mitch Berzin of Denison, TX, Virginia Davis and husband Casey of Durant, OK, Krystal Tom and husband James of Durant, OK, Ocean Fonville of Stringtown, OK, Cole Fonville of Stringtown, OK, Cody Fonville of Stringtown, OK; 13 grandchildren; sister, Paula Medlin-Moore of Denison, TX; niece, Jessica Hall of Denison, TX; brother, David Jay and wife Heather of Denison, TX; nephew, Kelsin Jay of Denison, TX; along with other loved ones and many dear friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Medlin and Sharon Leilani Sutton; stepmother, Brenda Medlin; maternal grandparents, TJ and May Graham, Oscar Lyons; paternal grandparents, Virginia Huffman and Billy Joe Medlin.
