Donna Rochelle Smith, age 52, a McAlester, OK resident that was raised in Stringtown, was born on Wednesday, September 15, 1971, to Marvin Eugene McGee and Loretta Marie Smith, at Atoka, OK. Donna passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Oklahoma City, OK. She attended Stringtown High School where she was very athletic, playing basketball and softball, and later attended Vo-Tech in McAlester. Donna worked in customer service at Sinclair in McAlester. She also was a stay at home mother raising her babies. She was of the Baptist faith and a former member of Stringtown Baptist Church. Donna loved cooking, providing for others, helping others, and her children and grandchildren. Donna was a very outspoken person and overprotective of those she cared for.

She is survived by her spouse, Kevin Washington of McAlester, OK; mother, Loretta (Smith) Gill and husband Kevin of Reagan, OK; father, Marvin Eugene McGee and wife Barbara of Antlers, OK; children, Dustin Evan Smith and lifelong partner Brittney of McAlester, OK, Brian Eugene Smith and lifelong partner Hannah of McAlester, OK, Deja Smith and son's father Eddie Waggoner of McAlester, OK, Kevin Tyree Washington and wife Kylie of McAlester, OK; grandchildren, Paeden, Brandon, Kobe, Brooklyn, Bremmer, Keeandre, Zailee, Brix, Kaidence, Bronx, Zaeden, Aliyah, Gianna, Dustin Jr., Kavelle, Kamari, Kyrie; siblings, Marvin Eugene and wife Debbie of McCloud, OK, Devan Smith of Stringtown, OK, LaKeitha "Jayola" and husband Ethan Calvin of Jacksonville, NC; special friends and daughter in law, Lakeisha Smith of McAlester, OK, Alexandria Oxford; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and many dear and loved friends. She was known as a mother figure to a number of kids.

Donna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Evan and Eretta Smith, Mary Ann and Earl McGee; nephew, Brandon Smith; aunts, Faye Smith Winrow, Tracey Rector, Queen Esther; Smith and McGee uncles.
