Doris Jean (Holley) Callicoat, age 79, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident. She was born on Tuesday, October 9, 1945, to Curtis Lee and Dorothy Ray (Hammons) Holley, at Atoka, OK. Doris passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Durant, OK.
She attended Atoka Public School. Doris was a housewife and homemaker. She married Dennis Reed Callicoat. Doris was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed going to yard sales, garage sales, watching game shows on tv and loved visiting with her family.
Doris is survived by her children, Sandy (Rains) Thompson and husband Anthony of Atoka, OK, Brian Callicoat of Bentley, OK, James Paul Rains of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Michelle (Thompson) Settlemire and husband Mick of Atoka, OK, Taylor Thompson and significant other Chase McCall of Atoka, OK; great grandchildren, Dalton Settlemire of Atoka, OK, Payton Settlemire of Atoka, OK, Dooley Thompson of Atoka, OK; sisters, Diana (Holley) Durant and significant other Hugh Sewell of Atoka, OK, Donna (Holley) Mosley of Antlers, OK; brother, Jerry Holley and wife Estelle of Lane, OK; ex husband, Dennis Reed Callicoat of Bentley, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Lee and Dorothy Ray (Hammons) Holley; brother, Jimmy Holley; grandson, Stetson Thompson; niece, Misty (Durant) Farmer.
