Doris Marie Hodges, age 81, a longtime Atoka, OK resident was raised in Levelland, TX and came to Atoka with her husband CM (Mack). She was born on Sunday, October 18, 1942, to Bernard Walter "Ben" and Julie Anna (Sehon) Pinkert, at Houston, TX. Doris passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Durant, OK. She graduated from Levelland High School in Levelland, TX then went on to attend South Plains Junior College in Levelland, TX where she enjoyed playing volley ball. Doris was a housewife and homemaker, she also worked as a secretary for Atoka Propane. She married Connie (CM) Mack Hodges on Saturday, July 15th, 1961 at Levelland, TX. They celebrated 63 years of marriage before her passing.  Doris was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Patrick's in Atoka. She was an honorary member of the Atoka Trail Riders, enjoyed driving a tractor, "keeping CM in line", watching Dallas Cowboys, growing flowers, collecting rocks, loved watching her kids and grandkids play ball and visiting with her family.
Doris is survived by her husband, CM (Mack) Hodges of the home in Atoka, OK; children, Kelley Floyd and husband James of Abilene, TX, Christie Hodges and husband Dale Lewis of Durant, OK, Chancey Hodges and wife Heather of Garber, OK; grandchildren, Erica Floyd, Kade Floyd, Carsten Hodges, Colvin Hodges; siblings, Robert Pinkert and wife Mary of Levelland, TX, Patsy Howell and husband Ronny of Big Spring, TX, Kenneth Pinkert and wife LaVonna of Sundown, TX, Judy Timmons of Morton, TX; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, many dear and loved friends.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Ben  and Julie Anna Pinkert; brother in law, Johnny Timmons.
