Doris Josephine (Lemons) Guinn Hopkins, age 86, a Coalgate resident, was born on May 29, 1934, to Jessie Levi and Laura Ellis (Darnell) Lemons, at Mowdy Community, Coal County, OK. Doris passed away on December 11, 2020 at Coalgate, OK. She attended & graduated from Ashland High School. Doris was a waitress at the Dairy Dream and worked at Wrangler retiring in 1995.

Doris married Vester Guinn and later married Gene Hopkins in 2005 at Pine & Legal. He preceded her in death in 2012

Doris was a member of the Pine & Legal Church of Christ. She enjoyed listening to old country music. Some of her favorites were John Hampton and the Ed & Jolene radio show. She loved to travel & go out to eat, and enjoyed baking with her grandchildren.
