Doris Jean (Jones) Smith, age 89, an Anaheim, CA resident, formerly of Kiowa, OK, was born on Sunday, April 7, 1929, to Samuel and Sarah P. (Wilson) Jones, at Kiowa, OK.  Doris passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at her home in Anaheim, CA. She graduated Kiowa High School in 1946. Doris was a homemaker and housewife. She married Charley Smith on Wednesday, May 12th, 1948. They moved from Oklahoma to California in 1959 and she loved the weather and life in California. They had 67 happy years together before his passing on December 7, 2015. Doris loved her husband, kids and grandkids. She was a great cook and loved word search puzzles.

Doris is survived by her children, Charla Dreyer and husband Jim of Prescott, AZ, Michael Smith of Tulsa, OK, Sherry Smith and husband Patrick Quigleyof Laguna Niguel, CA; sisters, Barbara Hudgins and husband Wes, Oleta Boman and husband Bob, Shirley White; brother, Jimmy Jones; grandsons, Jim Burke and wife Candace, Clifton Smith, Robert Smith; granddaughters, Alyssa Quigley, Alexis Quigley; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Charley Smith; parents, Samuel and Sarah Pearl (Wilson) Jones; and siblings. ******************************************************************************
