Dorothy passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Krebs, OK. She attended Sequoyah High School. Dorothy was a housewife and homemaker. She married Davis Jim on Saturday, May 18th, 1968 at Bentley, OK. They celebrated 51 years of marriage. Dorothy was a member of First Indian Baptist in McAlester, OK. She was a member of Choctaw Organizations Associations, was well known as being active and supportive in their community.
Davis Austin Jim, age 74, a McAlester, OK resident, was born on Tuesday, January 23, 1945, to Willie and Rena (Sexton) Jim, at Atoka, OK. Davis passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Tulsa, OK. He attended Bentley School. Davis was a self employed landscaper. He married Dorothy Earlene (Kirkland) on Saturday, May 18th, 1968 at Bentley, OK. They celebrated 51 years of marriage. Davis was a member of First Indian Baptist in McAlester, OK. He was a member of Choctaw Organizations Associations, was well known as being active and supportive in their community.
They are survived by their children, Lori Daney and husband Gary of Durant, OK, Sandra Jim and boyfriend Tommy Harjo of Heavener, OK, Virginia Jim and boyfriend Luis Guzman of Stigler, OK, Melissa Kinser and Thomas Cooper of Poteau, OK, Lealer Arroyo of McAlester, OK, Tasha Jim and boyfriend Ira Paul of McAlester, OK; grandchildren, Nathaniel Larney, Jaqui Larney, Dustin Larney, Jessica Jim, Latasha Jim, Brandan Beard, Bryan Beard, Queen Hughes, Quentin Jim, Quontez Jim, Quontrael Cleveland, Quarmetrius Jim, Quartaveon Guzman, Michelle Kinser, Oliver Kinser Jr., McKaylaa Kinser, Christian Kinser, Jasmine Kinser, Nikki Jim, Shane Armour, Monique Arroyo, Nicole Arroyo, Anthony Jim, Rosalee Arroyo, Ruben Ortiz, Lluvia Reynoza, Tallulah Arroyo, Jaime Rico Landeros, Issabella Jim, Isaiah Jim, Isalaina Jim, Isaac Jim; 18 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; Dorothy's sisters, Maudie Stubblefield, Mary Pendergrass and husband Wayne, Johnnie Sue Kemp; Dorothy's brothers, Earl Kirkland, Matthew Kemp; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
They are preceded in death by Dorothy's parents, Clifton and Lealer (Carney) Kirkland; Davis's parents, Willie and Rena (Sexton) Jim; grandchildren, Dominique Kinser, Austin Kinser, Joey Arroyo; Dorothy's sisters, Ruth Cummins, Hestor Gardner; Dorothy's brothers, Merle Kirkland, Hubert Kemp; Davis's brothers, Joseph Jim, Willie Jim Jr.; Davis's sisters, Rita Jim, Mary Jim, Martha Jim, Nancy Dodson, Eliza Jim.
