Dorothy Mae Mansell, age 90, a Atoka, OK resident. She was born on Wednesday, May 29, 1935, to Grover and Rosa Leona (Campbell) Hyde, at Caney, OK. Dorothy passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Atoka, OK. She attended Caney Public School in her early years. Dorothy was a health care aide for Atoka Hospital and nursing homes. She married Forrest Dean Mansell on Wednesday, April 9th, 1952 at Atoka, OK. They celebrated 58 years of marriage before his passing on August 22, 2010. Dorothy was a member of Melba Avenue Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading, and tending to her flowers, but most of all she enjoyed attending church, studying her Bible, and caring for her children and grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Deborah Allen and husband Larry of Atoka, OK, Larry Mansell and wife Karen of Atoka, OK, Doris Mansell of Atoka, OK, Beth Barrett and husband Leon of Holdenville, OK, Keith Mansell and wife Sheena of Atoka, OK, Jan Walden and husband Kent of Ada, OK; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jarod, Scarlet, Charlotte, Rhonda, Clint, Angela, Brandi, Brian, Tami, Jason, Laura, Ryan, Kimberly, Bridget, Dylan; 33 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Rosa Leona Hyde; husband, Forrest Dean Mansell; sisters, Ann Crites, Verta Morrison, Sue Whitten, Lorene Ellett, Melba Settlemire, Lou Gossett; brothers, Raymond Ables, Infant Baby Boy.
