Obituary Douglas "Doug" Elmore King, age 67, a longtime Farris area resident, was born on November 28, 1943, to Elgin and Flossie Mae (Pool) King, at Atoka, Ok. Doug passed away on Sunday, October 02, 2011 at Denison, Tx. He attended school at Atoka and Moyers. Doug was a Truck Driver. Doug proudly served his country in The Army. He married Virgina (Bowlin) on August 28, 1963 at Tahoka, Tx. Doug was of the Baptist Faith. Doug is survived by his wife, Virgina King of the home in Farris, Ok.; mother, Flossie Mae (Pool) King of Antlers, Ok.; daughter, Brenda Pickens of Farris, Ok.; grandchildren, Brandon Davis and fiancé, Lindsay Golden of Atoka, Ok., April Pickens of Farris, Ok.; great grandchildren, Julianna Davis of Atoka, Ok., Harlee Duncan of Atoka, Ok., Dawson Brawdy of Atoka, Ok.; siblings, Thomas King and wife Barbara of Elmore City, Ok., Linda Martin and husband Rodney of Midland, Tx., Alice Campbell of Calera, Ok., Tonya Hoskins and husband Stormy of Roswell, NM., Jerry King of Hartshorne, Ok., Terry King and wife Cathie of Calera, Ok., Vickie Yerta and husband David of Clayton, Ok.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
