Durwood Eugene Williams, 52, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, August 11, 2023.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Kristie Williams of DeRidder, LA; Pops, Buckie Nugent of DeRidder, LA; brother, Lonnie Nugent and Angela Hickman of DeRidder, LA; sisters, Kari Miller and Mark of Dry Creek, LA, Lori Wonner of DeQuincy, LA, Jena Nugent of Pelican, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Williams; grandparents, John and Mamie Stafford, Harry Sr. and Mary Williams and numerous aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at First United Pentecostal Church in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 14, 2023 also at First United Pentecostal Church. Brother Zale Lewis and Brother Wade Carroll will officiate the service.

An additional visitation and funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Caney Freewill Baptist Church in Caney, OK.

The funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM also at Caney Freewill Baptist Church.

Brother Zale Lewis will officiate the service.

Burial will follow at Knob Hill Cemetery in Kingston, OK.

Pallbearers will be Chance Crites, Joe Hendricks, Eric Carey, Bill Barnes, Amos Workman, Mark McMichael, Dale Baldridge, Braeden Workman, Ethan Settlemire.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Floyd Stafford, Wiley Williamson, Buckie Nugent, James Nugent, Wade Carroll, Tom Stafford.
