Dustin Lynn Stein, a Tupelo resident, was born on May 2, 1985, to Billy Ray Gore and Stacy Jo (Mutchler) Stein, at Oklahoma City, OK. He passed away on March 1, 2022 at Chandler, OK at the age of 36 years, 9 months and 27 days. Dustin graduated from Tupelo High School and continued his education at Murray State College. He was a Welder. Dustin served in the United States Army. He was of the Baptist faith. Dustin liked to play basketball with his son, loved to work, visit with family, and working on automobiles.

He is survived by his son, Carson Ray Stein of Ada, OK; parents, Billy Ray Gore and Stacy Jo (Mutchler) Stein of Tupelo, OK; siblings, Steven Ray Stein and wife Tia of Altus, OK, Jeremy Joe Stein and wife Jade of Lone Grove, OK and Samantha Ann Bishop and husband Andrew of Durant, OK; paternal grandmother, Nellie Fae Hunter of Tupelo, OK; maternal grandmother, Donna Mae Higgins of Freeport, IL; and the mother of his child, Kirsten Garza of Ada, OK.

Dustin is preceded in death by paternal grandfather, John Henry Gore; maternal grandfather, Robert Charles Mutchler; uncle, Joe Dewey Miller; and aunt, Mary Elizabeth Smith.
