OBITUARY NAME: Earley Albert "Al" Jones, age 74, a longtime Caney, OK resident. BORN: He was born on Friday, March 15, 1940, to Earley and Mary Irene (Wilson) Jones, at Atoka, OK. PASSED AWAY: Al passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at his residence in Caney, OK. AGE: 74 years, 2 months and 14 days. EDUCATION: He attended school at Centerpoint, Oak Ridge and Boswell and attended Paris Jr. College at Paris, TX. OCCUPATION: Al drove a propane truck and mail truck; also worked as a carpenter and managed several Western Auto Stores; he was a minister for the past 20 plus years. MARRIED: He married Jeniva M. (Stafford) on July 6, 1991 at Caney, OK. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Al was a member of the Penticostal. He loved playing music, woodworking and a great rock collector. Al was a "jack of all trades and master of one". SURVIVED BY WIFE: Jeniva M. "Stafford" Jones of the home in Caney, OK. CHILDREN: Tommy Harrington and wife Kelly of Colorado Springs, CO James Harrington and wife Dianne of CA Jan Cates and husband Ron of Guthrie, OK 14 GRANDCHILDREN 17 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN BROTHERS: Curtis Jones and wife Linda of Moore, OK John Jones and wife Bonnie of Oklahoma City, OK J.W. Jones and wife Savannah of Ft. Dodge, IA SISTER: Lareda Barcheers and husband Roy of Farris, OK SPECIAL FRIENDS: Rev Glen and Ruby Thompson of Atoka, OK along with nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear and loved friends; and the many church family members.
