Earline Faye Butler, age 92, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was raised in Gotebo, lived in Cordell and moved to Atoka in 1967, was born on Friday, July 26, 1929, to Andrew Wiley and Jessie Bell (Burch) Ledbetter, at Gotebo, OK, the 4th of 9 children. When growing up, she and her sisters, June and Betty would sing together at church. Earline passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Atoka, OK. She attended School at Lake Valley near Gotebo, OK. Earline was a dietary aid at Boulevard Cafeteria and also for at the Atoka, OK Manor for 11 years. She married Dale William Robinson on March 6, 1948 at Gotebo, OK, to the union 3 children, were born, Linda, Janice and Ronnie. She later married Gene Butler on March 28, 1975 at Oklahoma City, he preceded her in death.
Earline was a member of Southside Baptist Church, she was a born again Christian, a member of DAV Auxiliary and loved watching sports, OU Football, The Oklahoma Thunder and Chicago Bulls basketball, watching John Wayne movies, riding horses, fishing and loved being a mother and grandmother.
Earline is survived by her daughters, Linda Peoples of Atoka, OK, Janice McIninch of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Donna Peoples of Atoka, OK, DeWayne McIninch and wife Tammy of Caddo, OK, Pam Culberson and husband James of Hurst, TX, Randy Robinson of Vici, OK, Tanessa Terry of Hobart, OK, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Lois Gillard of Torrence, CA, June Fenn of Apple Valley, CA, Judy Allen and husband Jim of Casa Grande., AZ; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Earline was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Jessie Ledbetter; husbands, Dale Robinson and Gene Butler; son, Ronnie Robinson; grandson, Danny McIninch; great grandson, Daniel McIninch; son in law, David McIninch, daughter in law, Sharon Robinson; brothers, Dennis, Leo, Bobby, and Jimmy Ledbetter; sister, Betty Selle.
