Eileen Mildred Woods, age 85, a Mill Creek, OK resident, formerly a longtime Tushka resident for over 60 years. She was born on Wednesday, September 8, 1937, to Dewitt Talmadge and Lena Josephine (Blackmon) Stone, at Springtown, TX. Eileen passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Sulphur, OK. She attended school in Poolville, TX.
Eileen was a housewife and homemaker. She married Freddy Lee Woods on Saturday, March 30th, 1957 at Ft. Worth, TX. They celebrated 56 years of marriage before his passing on May 22, 2013. Eileen was a Christian. She enjoyed fishing and loved cooking and spending time with family.
Eileen is survived by her daughters, Joy Gail Zauner of Mill Creek, OK, Cathy Tyree of Oklahoma City, OK, Brenda Mize and husband Patrick of Mill Creek, OK; grandchildren, Angela Zimmerman of Jones, OK, Erica Pointer of Edmond, OK, Rikki Dohmann of Davis, OK, Ashley Wilson and husband Brandon of Oklahoma City, OK, Randi Gail Burleson and husband Brad of Sulphur, OK, Thomas Henderson of Sulphur, OK; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Felton Stone of Poolville, TX, Orville Stone and wife Pat of Run Away Bay, TX; stepsons, Billy Joe Woods of Montana, David Woods and wife Joy of Bray, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Dewitt Talmadge and Lena Josephine Stone; husband, Freddy Lee Woods; daughter, Darlene Pointer; son in law, Mike Tyree; granddaughter, Tamera Ogle; brother, Ed Stone; sister, Ruth Conger.
