Eldene Jim, age 69, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Saturday, April 9, 1949, to Emmitt and Susan (Lewis) Jim, at Talihina, OK. Eldene passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Atoka, OK. He attended Bentley Grade School and Tushka High School. Eldene was a laborer and worked for Choctaw Nation Fabricators. He worked for McDonald's for the last 4 or 5 years before he got too ill. He married Evangeline (Meashintubby). She preceded him in death in 2011. Eldene attended Macedonia Baptist church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, sitting outside and watching traffic, and just taking it easy.
Eldene is survived by his children, Jeremy Jim of Atoka, OK,  Beverly Vanriette and husband Darrell of Crystal City, TX,  Eldene Jim Jr. and Jennifer Ludlow of Atoka, OK, Billy Jim of Atoka, OK, Christopher Lloyd Davis and Victoria Leflore of Atoka, OK; brothers, Lee Jim and wife Yvonne of Wewoka, OK, Daniel Jim and wife Geneva of Stigler, OK; sisters, Ann Sleeper of Hominy, OK, Betty Jim and Jack Helsley of Ada, OK, Rhonda Jim of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Jeremy Jim II of Prairie Grove, AR, Zachary Jim, Amaya Jai Jim, and Elijah Geronimo Jim of Atoka, OK, Shania Faz and husband Patrick of Crystal City, TX, Lakota Vanriette, Darrell Vanriette Jr., and Talia Vanriette of Crystal City, TX, Nakyah Jim, McKabe Jim, and McKale Jim of Atoka, OK,  Brentley Mitchell of Atoka, OK, Zaylee Birdshead of El Reno, OK, Meadow Davis and Skye Davis of Atoka, OK; great grandson, Titus Faz of Crystal City, TX; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Eldene is preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt and Susan (Lewis) Jim; wife, Evangeline Jim; siblings, Carol Sue Lang, David Emmanuel Jim, Donald Jim, Culberson Ray Jim; grandson, Titus Jim.
