Elizabeth Ann (Watson) McEntire, a Shreveport resident, was born on August 7, 1947, to Talmadge and Olive (Jenkins) Watson, in Springhill, LA. Elizabeth passed away on February 12, 2022 in Shreveport, LA at the age of 74 years, 6 months and 5 days. She graduated from Watson Chapel High School in 1965. Elizabeth was a homemaker. She married John Matthew "Matt" McEntire, Sr. on June 18, 1966 in Pine Bluff, AR. They were blessed with 55 wonderful years together. Elizabeth was of the Baptist faith. She had a fantastic sense of humor and her family will miss her laughter. She loved reading, crocheting and helping make clothes/costumes for her grandkids. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy!
