OBITUARY
NAME: Elmuth "Junior" Bruce Jr., age 77, a life long Atoka, OK area resident.

BORN: He was born on Friday, April 12, 1940, to Elmuth Sr. and Ruth Gray (Upchurch) Bruce, at Antlers, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Junior passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Coalgate, OK.

AGE:  77 years, 8 months and 10 days.

EDUCATION: He attended Forest Hill School and graduated from Atoka  High School.

OCCUPATION: Junior was a life long rancher and cattle trader. He worked and retired from PSO almost 30 years as an operator.

MILITARY: Junior proudly served his country in the Oklahoma National Guard.

MARRIED: He married Patsy Lou (Heard) on Monday, July 29th, 1968 at Stringtown. They had 49 wonderful years together.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Junior was a member of the New Zion Methodist Church. He served on Harmony School Board, member of the Barber Shop gang. Junior loved his cattle, his kids, grand kids and great grand kids, visiting with friends, and had a big smile and a new joke every time you saw him.

Charla Slabotsky and husband Jay of Piedmont, OK
GRANDCHILDREN: Chris Tipton and husband Kolton of Atoka, OK
Cody Sheffield and wife Jordan of Atoka, OK
Callie Merck and husband Zach of Atoka, OK
Cate and Adam Slabotsky of Piedmont, OK
GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Avery and Case Tipton,  Jaylee Pettigrew, Brylee Merck,
Braelyn Merck, Rhett Merck,
EXPECTING ANOTHER GREAT GRANDCHILD IN JULY

SISTERS:  Molly Decker of Bedford, TX
Joyce Wilkie and husband Oscar of  Broken Bow, OK
Along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and other many dear and loved friends.
