Obituary Emma Lou (King) Birchfield, age 78, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Sunday, September 30, 1934, to Roy and Rixie (Coggins) King, at Atoka, OK. Emma passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Denison, TX. She attended Pine Springs Elementary and then Atoka High School. Emma graduated from Beauty College in Ada, OK. Emma was a Cosmetologist. She married Murray Birchfield on November 20, 1952 in Atoka, OK. Emma enjoyed visiting friends, family, and especially her great granddaughter, Madelynn. Emma is survived by her granddaughter, Stormee Sappington and husband Ronnie of Darwin, OK.; great granddaughter, Madelynn Sappington of Darwin, OK.; siblings, Gay Haberman and husband Jerry of Centerpoint, OK., Katie Sain and husband J.T. of Farris, OK., Bill King and wife Charlotte of Edmond, OK.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear and special friends.
