Emma Lee (Manion) McCormick, age 75, a longtime Kiowa, OK resident, was born on Monday, July 13, 1942, to Thomas Lee and B.D. (Self) Manion, at Stringtown, OK. Emma passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at her residence in Kiowa, OK. She attended and graduated from Limestone Gap High School in 1961. Emma was an inspector for MCAPP, Army Ammunition Plant in Savanna. Emma attended Arpelar Baptist Church in Arpelar, OK. She was a longtime supporter of 4-H, FFA livestock shows, booster clubs, and Baptist Girl Home Livestock Program. Emma enjoyed flowers, and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Emma is survived by her soul mate and special friend, Donnie Stacks of Kiowa, OK; children, Melonie Basinger and husband Mark of Marietta, OK, Kevin McCormick of Pittsburg, OK; brother, Royce Manion and wife Helen of Wardville, OK; grandchildren, Heather Burgett and husband Jared of Cloudy, OK, Jared Basinger and wife Haylee of Cisco, TX, Karlie McCormick of Kiowa, OK, Kourtnie McCormick of Kiowa, OK, Billy Corley of Kiowa, OK; great grandchildren, Kate Burgett, Jade Burgett, Raylan Burgett of Cloudy, OK, Cutter Basinger, Dalley Basinger of Cisco, TX; nephews, Justin Manion of Wardville, OK, Kerwin Manion and wife Leslie of Wardville, OK, Brian Ables of Carney, OK, Kent Ables of Oklahoma City, OK; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Emma is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Lee and B.D. Manion; sister, Linda Jones.
