Mom worked at Grace Living Center as a CMA and long term care aide for 30 years.
Mom was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Hands that healed us; hands that helped us; hands that nourished us; a heart that loved us. She is now holding the hands of the Father until we see her again one day.
Emma graduated from Atoka High School and then attended school to get her CMA . She attended Full Gospel Church. She was a homemaker and a housewife and worked until age 73. She loved her work. Emma loved her grandkids, football, and growing gardens and flowers.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ben Parkhill; father Jess Griffith; mother Leah Burleson; brother John Griffith; grandson Bryant W. Parkhill; grandson Lance Corporal Timothy D. Pace; great granddaughter Vivian Kay Mincher-Floyd.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Smock and Jerry Smock of Oklahoma City; daughter Paulet Floyd of Baytown, TX; daughter Angie and husband Greg Ralls of Stringtown, OK; son Brian Parkhill and wife Michelle of Mustang, OK. We have come together to celebrate the life of a beautiful woman given to us. A precious jewel from the Father in Heaven. We will cherish her life, her smile, her beautiful face. We will see her always in each of her children. A beautiful woman who remains in our hearts forever. Our mom.
