Obituary Emogene Nobie (Mattison) Brown, age 84, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Monday, June 4, 1928, to James and Lura Celeste (McDonald) Mattison, at Antlers, OK. Emogene passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Denison, TX. She attended school in Antlers and California. Emogene was a housewife and homemaker. She worked for Pacific Gas and Electric as an office clerk then for Arkla Gas Co. in Atoka. She married Robert Winston Brown on November 23, 1970 in Bakersfield, CA. Emogene was member of the Pentecostal Mountain View Church. She loved taking care of people, fishing with her husband, Bob and gardening. Emogene is survived by her step-daughters, Beverly Parrett and husband George of Trabuco Canyon, CA., Pam Guthrie and husband Jack of Bakersfield, CA.; step grandchildren, Robert Parrett, Michael Parrett, Sarah Miller, and Jacob Miller all of California; 5 great step grandchildren; nieces, Loretta Cole of California, Sue Manion of Oregon, Carolyn Lequieu of California; nephews, Howard Nored of Grand Junction, CO., Robert L. Brown and wife Denise of Wewoka, OK.; sister-in-law, Faye Olsen of Atoka, OK.; brothers-in-law, Joe Brown of Bakersfield, CA., Charles Brown of Scotsdale, AZ.; nieces-in-law, Paula Olsen of Atoka, OK., Joye Reeder of Pennsylvania, Sara Loke of Gilbert, AZ., Brenda Olsen of Atoka, OK.; along with numerous other relatives and many dear loved friends.
