Obituary NAME: Esther Marie (Lackey) Culbreath, moved from Caney in 1959 and then returned in 1976 where she remained the rest of her life. BORN: She was born on April 23, 1932 to James Jewell Lackey and Sadie (Clement) Lackey at Caney, Ok. PASSED AWAY: Marie passed away May 2, 2011 at Texoma Medical Center in Texas AGE 79 YEARS 0 MONTHS AND 9 DAYS EDUCATION: She attended school in Atoka County. She also attended Kiamichi School to receive her license for Dietary Manager. OCCUPATION: Marie was the dietary manager at Atoka Memorial Hospital for 14 years. MARRIED: She married Billy A. "Cotton" Culbreath on April 25, 1947 at Sherman, Tx. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES, AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Marie was a longtime member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and recently affiliated with Cornerstone Church. She was a member of Dietary Managers Association. Marie had a passion for serving and helping others thru her church and community. She loved sewing, quilting, and taking care of the hummingbirds. SURVIVED BY HUSBAND: Billy A.
