Eugene Taylor, age 70, a lifelong Atoka County, OK resident, was born on Tuesday, March 24, 1953, to Luther McCoy and Lula Pearl (Wilson) Taylor, at Atoka County, OK. Eugene passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Oklahoma City, OK. He attended High School. Eugene built fences, was a horticulturist, and a carpenter. He received salvation under the ministry of New Beginnings Church of Wapanucka. Eugene enjoyed raising and taking care of chickens, woodworking, and taking care of his mom. He was a cut up with people.
Eugene is survived by his sisters, Avodale Steer and husband David of Atoka, OK, Ella Joy Gray of Antlers, OK, Norma Gail Hawkins and husband David of St. Louis, MO; brothers, Hugo Manuel Taylor of Atoka, OK, Dennis Dean Taylor of Wilson Community, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and step children that were very loved.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Lula Pearl (Wilson) Taylor; maternal grandparents, Hugo and Maud Wilson; paternal grandparents, Man and Gurdy Taylor; brothers, Alton Ray Taylor, Ralph Taylor, Gary Don Taylor, Randy Taylor.
