Evelyn Fay Williamson, age 79, a longtime Bromide and Wapanucka, OK area resident, was born on Saturday, May 29, 1943, to Minor Decatur and Una Evelyn Mae (Jeffcoat) Murphy, at Bennington, OK. Fay passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Durant, OK. She attended Plainview School in Johnston County. Fay was a business owner and cafe worker. She worked at Trolly Cafe in Wapanucka and owned Long Horn Cafe in Wapanucka. She married Carl Charles Williamson on Monday, April 26th, 1976. They celebrated 30 years of marriage before his passing in 2006. Fay was a Christian. She loved family history, genealogy, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Fay is survived by her grandchildren, William Leon Hall of Durant, OK, David Cody Hall of Durant, OK, Keith Kirk and wife Amber of Wilson Community, OK, Amanda Kirk of Wapanucka, OK, Michael Kirk of Wapanucka, OK; son in law, Carey Kirk of Fitzhugh, OK; daughter "in love", Belinda Diane McGee of Durant, OK; step children, Boone Williamson of Wapanucka, OK, Rick Williamson of Chickasha, OK, Terry Williamson of Ada, OK, Connie Shirley of Atoka, OK, Emma Wooten of Chickasha, OK; great grandchildren, Zack Kirk, Kynlea Kirk, Kayden Kirk, Levi Hall, Blake White, Shelton White, Baylor Kirk, Oaklyn Kirk, Alexa Hall; along with numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Fay was preceded in death by her parents, Minor Decatur and Una Evelyn Mae Murphy; husband, Carl Williamson; daughter, Lisa Jo Kirk; brother, Frank Murphy.
